Leftovers

…is a solo project of Emil Gintberg Jensen, founded in 2013. The music draws inspiration from punk rock, ambient soundscapes, hard rock, and acoustic ballads—genres that naturally create tension, yet are woven together by leftovers into a haunting and beautiful synergy.

Over the years, leftovers has explored the more fragile side of this universe through acoustic releases such as the seven-track EP Shion and the 2024 album Cycles. Both works highlight an intimate and stripped-back expression. Now the project is preparing for its first major full-length album, Those Are Not Colors (2026), which will present a more complete sonic landscape, uniting the rawness of punk and hard rock with the atmospheric depth of ambient music and the sensitivity of acoustic songwriting.
