Released on December 6, 2024, Cycles marks the debut album from leftovers. The record unfolds through ten acoustic tracks, steeped in melancholy and dark undertones. While rooted in a stripped-back acoustic sound, the release concert at Sway in Aarhus brought the songs to life with layered guitars, harmonica, and accordion, adding new colors and textures to the intimate arrangements.
The closing track serves as a bridge to what’s next: Those Are Not Colors!, an upcoming rock album set for release in early 2026. With Cycles, Leftovers sets the tone for a journey that begins in quiet reflection and slowly grows toward something louder, heavier, and more expansive.
